Harold "Hal" Beattie, 64, of Blue Island, beloved father of Matthew (Dawn), loving son of Marjory nee Swanson and the late Mervin, dear brother of Mary Beth Nekola and Tom (Kathy), cherished uncle of Richard, Randy and Ryan Nekola.
Owner and operator of Melvin Press of Blue Island, talented musician playing trombone locally with the Mudcats, Tommy Dorsey Band and The Dancing Noodles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer's Association greatly appreciated.
